We are looking for a new full-time Social Media Assistant to join our passionate and diverse team in April/May 2024.

You will be working closely with the rest of our Social Media team to create content and engage with customer across our platforms.

We are looking for someone that has a good knowledge of what FairyLoot is, with a knowledge of trends and social media who is able to work well under pressure as well as working confidently alone whilst keeping their Manager well informed.

Key tasks include:
– Creating high quality and engaging social media content for FairyLoot’s platforms
– Hosting monthly Instagram Lives and website readalongs
– Content writing with a high level of spelling and grammar
– Monitoring current social media trends, insights and engagement
– Utilising our platforms for marketing with an understanding of how to reach target audiences
– Cross-referencing customer queries from social media to our support platform
Interacting with customers across all of our platforms (Website, Instagram, Twitter, Threads and TikTok)
– Liaising with the other areas of the team to ensure customers are kept up to date
– Providing product and support information across a variety of audiences and platforms
– Attracting potential customers by answering product and support questions
– Collaborative working within the social media team and the team as a whole

A knowledge of Adobe systems and Canva is desired but not essential.

Equipment:
– Laptop/Desktop Computer with working microphone
– Good Wifi
– Phone
– Tripod

Working Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday (35 hours a week)
Workplace: Work from home, UK based
Salary: £23,000 GBP per annum
Job Level: Entry
