We’re excited to be expanding our passionate and diverse Customer Support Team and are looking for full-time Customer Support Assistants to join us in January-February 2026.

FairyLoot is a UK-based fantasy book subscription company, renowned for our beautifully curated monthly subscription boxes and exclusive editions that bring magic to readers worldwide. Our team is made up of dedicated book lovers who share an appreciation for fantasy fiction, stunning artwork, and immersive storytelling. We work our magic to bring readers treasures they can cherish.

This is a role where you can help maintain the magic of FairyLoot by delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring every reader’s experience feels as enchanting as the books themselves.


About the Role

As a Customer Support Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our community of book lovers continues to receive the magical experience they expect from FairyLoot. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to assist with customer queries, resolve issues, and make sure every interaction feels personal and valued.

Key Responsibilities

✉️ Deliver exceptional customer care by responding to questions, concerns, and feedback with clarity, empathy, and efficiency.

🧚Provide accurate product and service information to existing and potential customers in a friendly, approachable manner.

⚒️Resolve customer issues by identifying the root cause of problems, selecting the best solutions, and following up to ensure complete satisfaction.

📋Maintain up-to-date customer records, including updating account information and logging interactions accurately.

🖥️Support subscription management, assisting with technical issues, troubleshooting, and maintenance across various platforms.

💬Adapt to new processes and information quickly, confidently applying updates and changes to your daily workflow.

🤝Contribute to team goals by meeting deadlines, sharing insights, and collaborating closely with your Team to ensure smooth operations.


Who We’re Looking For

  • A passionate reader who understands FairyLoot’s products and community.
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to navigate complex issues.
  • A fast learner who embraces change and can adapt to evolving processes with ease.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly and kindly in writing.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, comfortable working independently while keeping Upper Management informed.

Requirements

  • Stable internet connection capable of supporting multiple programs and video calls.
  • Excellent written English and communication skills.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.

Before employment begins, we will need the following:

  • A copy of your passport or European identity card
  • UK National Insurance number

Additional Details

💼 Job Level: Entry level
💰 Starting Salary: £26,000 per annum
📅 Application Deadline: 23rd November 2025
🚀 Start Date: January-February 2026
Full-time: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
📍 Location: Remote (UK-based)
