How have you been since we last chatted? Read anything spectacular lately? If so, share the recommendations in the comments!
Speaking of great books (I’m such a queen os smooth subtle segues, I know… *hides*), who’s ready to read Nocturna by Maya Motayne? This is a lovely Latinx fantasy full of sass, thievery, friendship, dark magic (hence the theme!) and epic risks!
Get your snacks at the ready, make sure to put your new Mr Kindly cat tea strainer to a good use and let’s get hyped for the book!
The reading will start on Monday the 13th of May and will last a full glorious week, with a goal of around 60-70 pages per day. Of course, please adjust the pace to your liking if this is too fast/slow! The daily discussion posts will always be there for you! Similarly, if you have already read the book, join in the discussions either way! Just don’t spoil the future events please! 🙂
The reading schedule is as follows:
13th of May – Chapters 1-5
14th of May – Chapters 6-11
15th of May – Chapters 12-17
16th of May – Chapters 18-23
17th of May – Chapters 24-29
18th of May – Chapters 30-33
19th of May – Chapters 34-38
The daily posts will have spoilers for that allocated book section so we can freely share our thoughts for what just happened and predictions as to what will follow! Cannot wait to hear what you think!
Instagram will be a spoiler free zone! Make sure to tag us in your Readalong stories when you get ready for a reading session, we often repost these and we love seeing you all cozy and ready to smash the daily goals! It keeps us and others motivated! If you take Instagram photos of the book, you might also find your photo being featured in a post too (with due credit, of course!).
I will pop on the stories every day to remind you which chapters we are reading that day. We know some people like to set a handy phone reminder to get that reading done too!

I fully intended to read ahead this month and have Nocturna finished before the readalong started so I could just relax a little, unfortunately a pile of other books got in my way! ?

Hello everyone!? YAYY this is my first Fairyloot Read-A-Long and the April Fairyloot was also my first box too! I’m super excited to join this time. I may have read a few chapter of Nocturna already too….oops haha?

I’m currently finishing crooked kingdom and packing my suitcase for my vacation starting next thursday. So I’ll probably be finishing Nocturna on my two flights which will be around 12-13 hours together (6 and 6 probably, so I’ll land on friday) and I still have to get myself a truckload of ebooks for the flights and the 10 days of vacation. Still undecided what to read and which physical books to bring (if so).
Sorry, I drifted away from the topic…. anyway, as I said, can’t wait.
