AHHHHH! I’ve been dying for this sequel to come out! I put a reminder on my calendar to remind when we I should get the email to buy it!

I was actually quite surprised how much I loved the first book-gave me a lot of “a darker shade of magic” vibes after finishing it, and I am so, so excited to see where Maya Motayne takes both her characters and the world after the events in the first book! This is definitely in the top five of my most anticipated books to come out this year!

I also really wanted to thank FairyLoot for doing the sequel to this book series. I know when the April 2019 box came out, it was very up in the air if you’d do a special edition of the second book. And now that you are, I can tell you that I am so glad that the sequel-which the regular second book would have been blue like your edition for the first one was and would have been matching colours and the third would have been a different colour than the first two-will now be what the regular colour of the first book would have been had it not been blue. So, honestly, my bookshelf aesthetic thanks you!

Thank you so much for doing this book!
